A leading insurance company in the UK seeks a professional for pricing transformation. The role involves building and enhancing risk models using data science techniques. A focus on continuous improvement and collaboration is essential. Ideal candidates have knowledge of claims data and machine learning, preferably in the insurance sector. Competitive salary and benefits included.
We’re making a significant investment in pricing capability with a comprehensive pricing transformation programme. This includes the implementation of new pricing software, market-leading modelling, and performance monitoring approaches. Our pricing structure is more aligned to focus on the key disciplines of technical pricing, market pricing and pricing governance. As a result, several vacancies have arisen, with a need for strong data science, actuarial and governance skills.
Do you have an interest in technical pricing? If you have knowledge of actuarial techniques, including reserving, this could be the role for you. You’ll build and evolve risk models, continually improving the predictiveness of claims across Individual, SME and Corporate portfolios. You’ll use both traditional and emerging data science techniques, enabling more accurate pricing. You’ll carry out analysis of risk mix, claims trends, inflation and new treatment costs to facilitate alignment with the Reserving and Claims Analytics teams. Monitor model performance and share insights with key stakeholders.
