Job summary

VANRATH is recruiting a Senior Technical Manager in Dungannon to lead the Technical function across a food manufacturing business. You will oversee quality systems, food safety, legality and regulatory compliance while guiding continuous improvement and a strong quality culture within the operation.

The role requires managing the Technical Team, maintaining BRCGS accreditation and liaising with regulators and retailers to meet standards and audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology or Food Science.
• Proven management experience in Technical, Quality or Food Manufacturing.
• Experience maintaining BRCGS accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Technical Team to meet standards.
• Develop and maintain a robust Quality Management System (BRCGS, retailers).
• Maintain HACCP plans in line with legislation and standards.
• Drive the technical strategy and continuous improvement.
• Lead customer audits and provide technical support to Customer and Commercial teams.
• Communicate with DAERA and regulatory authorities on compliance.
• Provide regular reports on product safety, legality, quality and controls.
