Senior Technical Services Manager
Location: London, WC2H 8NU. Salary: Up to £63,500 per annum with up to 10% bonus.
Purpose of the Role
Responsible for leading and managing all technical services across multiple client sites, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery. The role provides strategic and operational oversight of self-delivered and subcontracted services, maintaining asset integrity, budget control, and customer satisfaction.
Key Dimensions
- TFM contract – Corporate Segment (tenanted offices)
- 5 sites in Central London region
- Team of 6 technical staff (plus subcontractor oversight)
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Management – Lead delivery of planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance; maintain statutory compliance, asset data accuracy, and lifecycle planning; manage and develop CMMS (Maximo) usage and reporting; provide technical support, lead investigations, and ensure service resilience.
- Team Leadership – Motivate, coach, and develop the technical team; manage performance, succession, and training in line with Sodexo standards.
- Supplier & Financial Control – Manage subcontractor performance and compliance with SLAs; control technical budgets, monitor spend and identify efficiency opportunities; lead procurement and approval processes for technical works.
- Safety & Compliance – Embed a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to HSEQ standards; oversee RAMS, LOTO, and all safe systems of work.
- Client & Stakeholder Management – Build positive relationships with client representatives and internal teams; provide accurate reporting, insight, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Person Specification
- NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
- Proven experience managing technical services within FM.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance, engineering standards, and CMMS (Maximo desirable).
- Commercial awareness and supplier management experience.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.
