Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Technical Estimator (Precision Engineering) in Knutsford. The role focuses on ownership of technical estimates for precision components, interpreting drawings and managing supplier quotes to balance cost and quality.

You will interact with CNC suppliers, visit supplier machine shops occasionally, and play a pivotal part in costing and profitability within a nuclear and oil & gas context. A clear pathway to progression and development is provided.

Competenze

• Experience as an Estimator or Technical Buyer in precision engineering.

Mansioni

• Technical estimating and costings for precision-engineered components.
• Interpret engineering drawings to assess materials and manufacturing requirements.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
• Full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
