Job summary

Velonetic is seeking a Technical Head of Claims to lead the technical claims function across all lines of business from a UK-based remote setting. You will partner with Product and Delivery teams to shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance and high standards in claims handling, reserving, and coverage interpretation.

In this senior role you will coach heads across multiple classes, drive operational alignment with technical strategy, and represent the business in Lloyd’s market engagements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in London Market claims across multiple classes.
• Ability to advise across multi-class technical teams and deliver strategic impact.
• In-depth knowledge of claims adjusting, coverage analysis, and dispute resolution.
• Proficiency with London market systems and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach technical heads across multiple classes to uphold standards.
• Define and evolve the technical claims strategy in response to market trends.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to shape new claims-led services.
• Coordinate with Claims Operations to align processes with technical standards.
• Support growth and client engagement through strategic relationship management.
• Ensure governance and compliance with Lloyd’s and London Market regulatory requirements.
