Job summary

Avance Consulting is seeking a Technical Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across multiple programmes. You will design artefacts, guide delivery, and collaborate with product groups to align with enterprise strategies.

This role requires strong communication, TOGAF/BCS EA background, and experience with AWS and multi-platform solutions. You will engage stakeholders across security, architecture, and business units to shape future roadmaps and ensure value delivery, while driving

Qualifications

• Experience designing digital and/or data platform solutions.
• Experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience with best practice solution architecture across domains and platform technologies.
• Commercial awareness and costing of solution options; procurement frameworks.
• Collaborative self-starter with proactive, can-do attitude.
• Strong experience with technical and environment interdependencies across projects.
• Solid knowledge foundation with architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF/BCS EA).
• Experience with architectural methodologies and modelling tools; Agile.
• Proficient in UML.
• Ability to coach and mentor others in architectural practices.
• CPD and engagement with industry innovators.
• Experience of innovation while ensuring EA adherence.

Responsibilities

• Design architectural artefacts for end-to-end solutions aligned to standards and requirements.
• Guide project teams and product groups in delivery, resolving technical dependencies.
• Contribute to Digital and Data Strategies; ensure alignment with strategies.
• Support divisional roadmaps; identify scope, dependencies and priorities.
• Collaborate on enterprise/product architecture strategies and roadmaps.
• Quality assure artefacts from external suppliers and internal teams to meet requirements.
• Identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation within the product roadmap boundary.
• Engage stakeholders to identify capabilities, perform gap and maturity assessments.
• Research technology trends and explore opportunities for exploitation.
