This Senior Technical Architect role at DWP Digital offers the opportunity to work on one of the largest digital transformations in Europe.
This role is all about improving how citizens interact with DWP, particularly through contact channels and document management, while ensuring data security and compliance with legal frameworks.
You’ll provide expert advice, and create solution options across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. You’ll use modern design principles, modelling techniques, and integration strategies including microservices, APIs, and event-based architectures.
Location: You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle‑upon‑Tyne and Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you’ll spend some time working at home (40%) and some time collaborating face to face in a hub (60%).
Pay: We offer competitive pay for this role of up to £83,917 - this includes a Government Digital and Data Allowance based on our assessment of your capability at interview.
Pension: You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth £16,786 per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
