Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Belfast is seeking a senior developer to lead and deliver a pre-trade request-for-quote and pricing platform for Equity Derivatives and Delta 1 desks globally. You will work with tech, front office sales, trading and quants across Derivative & Delta 1 desks.

You will guide a team as a senior technical lead, delivering robust production-quality software, with emphasis on scalable microservices and CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as technical lead senior developer.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and production-quality software.
• Proficient with microservices, container/cloud deployment and hosting designs.
• Strong multi-threading and parallel programming skills.
• Experience with Java/Kotlin, Kafka, ELK.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Understanding of Equity, Derivatives and Delta 1 asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality code adhering to team standards and best practices.
• Identify and define system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
• Collaborate with front office sales, trading, and quants across Derivative & Delta 1 desks.
• Solve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of system processes and industry standards.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts in an agile delivery mindset.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies and regulations.
