Overview

Senior Tax Manager (Wealth & Asset Management)
Manchester & Newcastle
£65,000 - £90,000 + Benefits + Bonus

The team focuses on advising clients in the Wealth & Asset Management sector, working with alternative assets including hedge funds, credit funds, private equity & real estate. In addition to tax advisory, the team supports personal tax compliance & advisory matters.

Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Tax Manager in the team you will be involved in a variety of tax compliance and advisory projects across a range of taxes including fund tax, international tax, partnership tax, personal tax and other matters related to the wealth & asset management sector.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and support long-term growth of the team and office across the North and wider UK.
  • Work closely with Directors & Partners in the team and office, helping lead the private capital team across the North.
  • Collaborate with HMRC, financial institutions, lawyers and third parties, ensuring effective stakeholder management.
What you'll need to be successful
  • Suitably qualified (ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA etc)
  • Strong tax experience providing tax advice on funds; a good variety of different clients would be desirable but not essential.
  • Well-rounded tax experience including personal tax, corporate and international tax.
  • Exposure to asset management or alternative funds.
