A respected accountancy practice in Guildford is seeking a Senior Manager in Accounting who is a qualified tax specialist. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated tax team, manage compliance operations, and provide strategic tax advice to a diverse client base. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager in Accounting who is a CTA-qualified ATT/ ACA or ACCA tax specialist. This individual will be responsible for creating and managing a dedicated tax team and overseeing our compliance operations. The role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in tax planning, compliance management, and client engagement.

Significant post-qualification experience in tax and compliance management, ideally within an accountancy firm.
Proven track record of managing and leading tax teams, with a strong focus on client service and strategic tax planning.
Experience in managing compliance functions, ensuring adherence to all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a flair for inspiring and motivating professionals.
CTA qualified tax specialist, ACCA or ACA qualified.
In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to create and manage high-performing tax and compliance teams.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and team members.
Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., Iris, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
