About the Role & Your Impact

We’re seeking a Tax Manager to join our Bristol-based Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance Europe, you’ll lead tax compliance and reporting across our UK consolidated group and international subsidiaries in South Africa, Chile, Ireland, Spain, China, and Hong Kong.

This is a high-impact role where your expertise will shape tax strategy, ensure compliance, and support global operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead UK Corporate Tax and VAT compliance, ensuring timely filings and payments
  • Prepare and review quarterly UK VAT returns and corporation tax computations
  • Oversee tax reporting for month-end, year-end, budgeting, and statutory accounts
  • Collaborate with external advisors on international tax filings and transfer pricing
  • Manage Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) testing and certification
  • Provide technical tax support and research for internal teams
  • Coach and lead the Tax Team, fostering development and performance
  • Deliver tax training across the business
  • Support statutory audits and ad hoc finance projects
What You’ll Bring:
  • 5+ years’ experience in tax compliance and reporting
  • Relevant qualification (ACA) UK, (CTA) UK, or ACCA
  • Strong grasp of UK Corporation Tax, VAT, and indirect taxes
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
  • Clear communicator with strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage complexity across multiple jurisdictions
