PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking a Tax Disputes/ Investigation Senior Manager in Reading to lead complex tax investigations and disputes. You will manage HMRC enquiries, provide strategic guidance, and drive resolution for high-stakes cases.

Key responsibilities include client engagement, ADR and tribunal processes, relationship management, and business development to grow the practice. Strong UK tax knowledge and senior-stakeholder communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in tax disputes or investigations.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to understand challenges and develop the best possible solutions.
• Support clients in HMRC enquiries with commercial and practical guidance and strategy.
• Represent clients in ADR, mediation, and appeals, including tribunal preparation.
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships through clear, pragmatic advice.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the firm with clients and prospects.
• Collaborate with the wider practice to share knowledge and support broader client solutions.
