Job description

Join an ambitious and growing tax compliance team as a Senior Tax Accountant, supporting a portfolio of complex UK real estate structures. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to deliver accurate, timely, and efficient compliance services while developing your technical and professional skills.

Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing computations and returns for VAT, Corporation Tax, CIS, and other compliance obligations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure expectations and deadlines are effectively managed.
  • Ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and on time using specialist tax software.
  • Investigating and resolving queries, demonstrating sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Providing tax support and guidance to internal teams across the business.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and third-party service providers.
  • Contributing to process improvements and best practice within the tax compliance team.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the integration of tax compliance services with wider governance and corporate teams.
  • Acting in accordance with company policies and maintaining high professional standards.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified (or qualified by experience) and have a strong background in tax, accounting, or audit-ideally within a commercial, fund, or fiduciary environment. They will have excellent Excel skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, deadline-driven setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
