Responsibilities
- Delivery of the Targeted Catchment Investigations (TCI) workstream, reducing the number of pollutions, sewer floodings and blockages that occur from Thames Water's wastewater network.
- Analysis of previous pollutions, flooding and blockages to determine the likely root causes and create work packs for field teams to investigate.
- Act as the key technical interface with field teams, directing activities within the field.
- Analyse the output of field investigations to determine the best resolution, then direct these resolutions either through the TCI field teams or through other departments within Thames Water.
- Support and provide technical direction for the TCI analysts within the team.
- Liaise and drive other departments within Thames Water to deliver the resolutions you have determined.
- Record and analyse the success of targeting, investigating and resolution activities for performance reporting and to identify opportunities to develop and improve the process.
- Customer liaison – support actions required to manage the customer interface, keeping customers informed and minimising disruption during the work.
- Collaborate with regional teams and central teams to ensure the TCI workstream aligns with ongoing regional work.
Qualifications
- Passion to improve environmental performance.
- Experience in a similar role or industry.
- Experience in planning or analysing technical or field operations.
- GIS experience.
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively with all levels of an organisation to achieve improved business outcomes.
- Qualification in an environmental, science, data, mathematical or engineering discipline.
- Full driving licence, as travel is required.
