Job summary

The Big Life Group in Manchester is seeking a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Talking Therapies service. You will conduct disorder-specific assessments, provide formulation, and manage a small caseload, largely via telephone.

This role is based at Zion Centre, Manchester, with some remote working possible. The position is NHS band 5 plus 2, offering 37.5 hours per week and 25 days of annual leave (30 after five years). Interviews will be scheduled after 2 November.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.
• Carry a small caseload to maintain professional registration.
• Support events in the community to generate referrals.

Responsibilities

• Triage referrals that come into the service and identify the appropriate care pathway.
• Provide disorder-specific assessments and formulation to clients largely via telephone.
• Manage risk and safeguarding concerns as part of the triage rota.
• Support community events to promote the service and raise referrals.
