Job summary

Onyx-Conseil is seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant to lead complex programmes from our Bristol base in a hybrid role, with travel to client sites. You will shape system architectures, develop requirements and oversee verification across Defence, Nuclear, Space and Utilities sectors.

With 8+ years in Systems Engineering, you will engage with clients, manage stakeholders and operate within regulated environments while being eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience in Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace or other complex engineering environments.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) with DV clearance highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Engineering activities across complex engineering programmes.
• Deliver concept studies, research projects and early lifecycle engineering work.
• Develop system requirements, architectures and integration strategies.
• Support verification, validation, safety and performance assessment activities.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders across Defence, Nuclear, Space and Utilities.
• Hybrid role based in Bristol, with occasional travel to client sites.
