Job summary

Our client, a systems engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant to work across activities at various stages of the lifecycle for government and industry. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering leading systems engineering capabilities.

Based in Bristol or Reading, the permanent role offers £55,000–£75,000 depending on experience. A technical degree and strong requirements management are expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience across several areas of Systems Engineering lifecycle.
• Background in a complex engineering environment with procurement exposure.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and concept development of systems solutions.
• Develop and manage system requirements using DOORS/RDL.
• Create abstract architectures with UML/SysML.
• Utilise tools like Rhapsody, SparxWorks, MooD for modelling.
• Apply MoDAF/NAF frameworks in system design.
• Perform safety, integration, and V&V activities.
• Assess system resilience and environmental impact.
