General Dynamics Mission Systems - United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development of next-generation mission computing systems for military aircraft. You will steer cross-disciplinary teams through the full lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, technical integrity and stakeholder alignment.
The role requires MBSE, DOORS-driven requirements, and experience with avionic challenges.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of next-generation mission computing systems for military aircraft platforms. You will lead cross-disciplinary engineering teams through the full system life-cycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, technical integrity, and stakeholder alignment. Your structured approach, calm leadership under pressure, and commitment to ownership will be key to delivering high-performance, safety-critical systems in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity and suitability of the design of next generation mission computing products and for leading the life-cycle management of the product, including design reviews, verification, and qualification activities.
This role has a salary of between £45,600 - £60,000 plus our flexible benefits package.
We are open to this role being spent with time working from home and in the office (hybrid - typically 3 days working in office) on a weekly basis or fully in our offices.
