Location: Multiple UK offices (including Bristol, London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Reading)

Work Type: Full-time, flexible location

Overview

An opportunity to join a leading engineering consultancy known for its human-centric and sustainable approach to design. The role sits within a high-performing HV team delivering power systems analysis and design across complex infrastructure and mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical delivery of HV/MV/LV power systems analysis and design.
  • Perform load flow, fault level, harmonic (G5/5), and protection studies.
  • Design substations and points of connection from LV to HV.
  • Conduct earth rise, touch potential, and resilience studies.
  • Produce specifications, schematics, and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in HV engineering or power systems design.
  • Proficiency in tools like ETAP, Amtech, Revit, BIM, CAD.
  • Deep understanding of substation design, protection coordination, arc flash, CT calculations, and power quality studies.
  • Ability to model complex networks and conduct advanced studies.
  • Experience in client-facing consultancy roles and mentoring.
