A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Royal Navy submarines. This role involves leading engineering solutions and working with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a degree in a STEM discipline and proven experience in engineering design and project management. The position offers hybrid working arrangements, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be part of a team that plays a vital role in sustaining Royal Navy submarines throughout their lifecycle. You’ll lead the delivery of innovative In-Water Engineering (IWE) solutions that directly support submarine availability and readiness for operations at sea.
Day-to-day, you’ll be part of a centre of excellence within our Engineering Services Directorate, applying your expertise to deliver technical solutions that make a real-world impact.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
