Job summary

PKF Smith Cooper is seeking an experienced Systems & Data Developer to lead design and development of data and software solutions. You will champion AI technologies, build scalable systems, and drive innovative products and services for internal and client-facing initiatives.

The role requires 2–3 years in data or software development, strong Power Platform experience, and knowledge of data modelling, Azure Data Lake, and API integrations. Derby is preferred but other PKF offices are considered.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in data, software development, or Power Platform development roles.
Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake.
Knowledge of API development and system integrations.
Understanding of data modelling, databases and data architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance business performance.
Develop robust data models, dashboards and reporting solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations between business systems.
Lead development of new service offerings and software products.
Drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on development best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies to create competitive advantage.
