Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a skilled IT professional to join the Technology Markets Applications team. You will deliver high-quality IT experiences, support client servicing apps, and craft requirements with client-facing teams.

You will configure system functionality, write reports, and support automation with VBA/SQL/SAS. Strong collaboration, mentoring, and change management are essential for project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong technical financial services knowledge.
• Experience in private equity or real assets preferred.
• Part or fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, CGI, or a relevant IT qualification.
• Exposure to Private Equity products, especially eFront Invest and Investment Cafe.
• Advanced PC skills, notably MS Office, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Work alongside the Technology Markets Applications team to deliver high-quality IT experiences for clients and colleagues
• Provide general user support for Aztec’s client servicing applications suite
• Create requirements documents with client-facing teams
• Configure new system functionality and financial reporting solutions
• Write reports and support integration feeds and automation
• Prepare training materials, deploy changes, and design processes that improve operational efficiency
• Elicit detailed client requirements, scope work, provide work breakdowns, and quote where necessary
• Manage timelines, expectations, service requests, incidents, escalations, and BAU allocations
• Support client-facing teams and clients throughout project lifecycles through meetings, updates, and project documentation
• Specify, design, and develop solutions for complex or ambiguous requirements
• Triage service requests and incidents, assess complexity, and direct or delegate work
• Perform application and report testing, System Integration Testing, and reconciliation activities
• Conduct four-eyes reviews of changes processed by other MTS Applications users
• Provide third-level support for service requests, incidents, projects, and continual improvements
• Follow the change management framework through documentation, testing, approval, and deployment
• Mentor junior team members and deputise for managers where appropriate
• Lead peer meetings supporting projects, processes, and coordination

Requirements

• 3+ years of strong technical financial services industry knowledge
• Prior business experience in private equity or real assets preferred
• Part or fully qualified in a relevant professional qualification, such as ACCA, ACA, CGI, or a relevant IT qualification
• Exposure to Private Equity products is essential, particularly the eFront suite, including eFront Invest and Investment Cafe
• Advanced PC skills, notably MS Office, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Experience or proficiency with VBA, VB Script, SAS, JavaScript, and Transact SQL
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients, and business contacts
• General problem-solving ability and a methodical approach

• Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively with colleagues and clients
