A client in London is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator responsible for designing and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in Kubernetes and MySQL, along with hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure. The position offers a salary range of £65k – £70k based on experience, with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration, including cluster setup, upgrades, security, and monitoring.
• Proven experience with MySQL in production environments, particularly with high-performance and replication architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, RDS (MySQL), CloudFront, Route 53, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking and communications, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, CDNs, and firewall/WAF management.

Responsibilities
