Job summary

Shure UK is seeking a Senior System Test Engineer to join the System Verification team in the lab located in Copenhagen or Edinburgh. You will lead end-to-end testing of networked audio systems, coordinating hardware, firmware, software and network components to ensure seamless interoperability.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or system testing, with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in quality engineering or system testing focusing on hardware-software integration.
• Experience testing interconnected systems and product ecosystems end-to-end functionality.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing, including regression and performance testing.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and networked device testing.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and clear communication; ability to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and execution of comprehensive test plans for audio conferencing systems.
• Design and execute customer-focused test scenarios reflecting complex, multi-device setups and cross-system interactions.
• Validate performance across interconnected hardware, software, and network components.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document product issues, collaborating with global teams.
• Drive testing efforts to meet tight product launch schedules and software release deadlines.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a quality-driven test culture.
• Contribute to improvements in test processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Work hands-on in lab environments to configure setups, integrate systems, and debug scenarios.
• Support fast, high-quality product releases in an agile development environment.
