Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Surveyor in London to protect and enhance client assets through proactive property management and active stakeholder engagement. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, deliver regular reports, and drive value through efficient operations and strategic decision-making.

The role requires experience in landlord/tenant matters, lease administration, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Proven property management experience in commercial real estate.
• Strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters and service charge management.
• Experience preparing client reports, budgets, and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring assets are operated efficiently and in line with client objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, occupiers, asset managers and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver management reports with clear analysis and recommendations.
• Oversee tenant liaison, including lease enquiries, alterations, assignments, and subletting requests.
• Manage rent, service charge, and other income collections to targets.
• Prepare and manage service charge budgets and reconciliations.
• Ensure lease obligations compliance and support landlord/tenant requirements.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify opportunities for asset improvement.
• Collaborate with facilities teams to maintain health and safety compliance and company procedures.
• Support sustainability initiatives and environmental plans for properties.
• Monitor contractor performance and contribute to procurement and contracts.
