Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Senior Surveying Engineer to act as the technical authority for all surveying matters at Heathrow Airport. You will lead survey activities, coordinate with project managers, site teams, designers and clients to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor junior surveyors, support capability development, and drive adoption of innovative surveying technologies and digital workflows across the business.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in civil engineering, geomatics or land surveying.
• Expert-level understanding of GNSS/GPS, 3D laser scanners, digital levels, total stations.
• Experience with drafting/mapping software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StarNet, ReCap, Leica/Trimble tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for surveying matters across Ferrovial Construction projects at Heathrow Airport.
• Manage surveyors and subcontractors across multiple projects and coordinate with project managers, site teams and clients.
• Ensure surveying staff are trained, competent and working safely; mentor junior surveyors.
• Provide technical support and guidance on survey-related issues; plan and manage survey activities.
