Job summary

Agincare Leicestershire seeks a Senior Support Worker to lead hands-on care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism, across Sileby. The role blends practical support with leadership to shape high-quality care provided by a committed team.

You will supervise teams, review care plans, liaise with families and professionals, and step in to lead shifts to ensure consistent, person-centred support for service users.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior support or team leader role.
• Confidence supporting complex needs.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable/working towards).
• Strong organisation and IT skills.
• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support, including personal care and community activities.
• Support and guide team members across multiple locations.
• Review care plans, risk assessments, and records.
• Liaise with families and professionals.
• Lead shifts to ensure high‑quality, consistent support.
