Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Castle Cary to lead our residential service. You will help residents gain more independence and support the manager with daily supervision and operations.

The role involves allocating shifts, training, supervising new staff, and ensuring medication is ordered and finances are managed. Relevant Level 3 Health & Social Care (or progressing) and autism/complex needs experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Senior Support Worker experience.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care or working towards it.
• Experience with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs or challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the residential service in Castle Cary.
• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management.
• Allocate shifts and book training, induct new colleagues, supervise staff.
• Order medication and ensure residents manage finances.
