Job summary

Creative Support in Horsforth, Leeds is seeking a Senior Support Worker to provide person-centred care to tenants with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex support requirements. Up to £14.05 per hour, full-time or part-time hours, with flexible evenings and weekends.

You will lead a team and ensure care follows a positive behaviour support framework. Full training is provided, and the role offers opportunities to develop within our supported living and day services.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2 or 3.
• Ability to work within a positive behaviour support framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers to deliver individualised support.
• Plan with the wider support network to help tenants achieve wishes and aspirations.
• Support with personal care, domestic tasks, social engagement and community activities.
• Communicate effectively to ensure consistent care.
