Job summary

Priory Group's Cherrywood House in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join a compassionate team caring for 11 adults with autism or learning disabilities. The home provides a supportive, woodland-surrounded environment close to the coast and local amenities.

You will help deliver personalised care plans and promote independence. You will work with a dedicated team, enjoy regular training, development pathways and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a support worker team is preferred.
• Ability to work with adults on the autism spectrum or with learning disabilities.
• Resilience and empathy to support residents with ongoing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of care plans.
• Carry out routine tasks and activities to promote wellbeing, dignity and treatment.
• Support residents in moving towards greater independence in a safe environment.
