A regional NHS healthcare provider in Doncaster is seeking an apprentice to support service users with learning disabilities and mental health issues. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and take part in care plans and personal support. This position offers the chance to gain a Level 3 qualification while receiving hands-on training and support. The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and confidentiality in patient care.
To work as an integrated member of the multi‑disciplinary team supporting service users (who have a primary diagnosis of Learning Disability, a history of offending behaviours, and who may experience additional mental health problems), delivering holistic care and support as part of the Forensic Pathway under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH is offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role.
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work‑related skills, and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20 % of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
