A leading charity organization is looking for a part-time Senior Support Worker in Thornbury. In this role, you will help autistic adults achieve independence and integrate into their community. Candidates must have experience in the social care sector and possess a valid UK driving license. Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) and driving in the UK for the last 6 months is essential for this role.

We are looking for Senior Support Workers with the passion to work with our fantastic teams. You’ll be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Suitable candidates will have experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting. Being a Senior Support Worker takes leadership skills, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include evening and weekend working.
Please note for this role you must be able to drive and have a car you can use while working.
Residential Services in Pinecroft. Pinecroft is our specialised residential home where we support autistic adults who have a variety of mental health needs. We support them to develop skills to promote their health and wellbeing, inclusion in the local community and greater independence. We are looking for staff with a “can do” approach who can offer active support to facilitate and enable the people we support to progress and move on.

To protect our autistic adults, all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
