Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with day-to-day operations
  • Lead shifts, mentor staff, and provide guidance as a Senior Support Worker
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and best practices at all times
  • Supervise, train, and support staff development
  • Monitor care plans and ensure positive outcomes for each young person
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative systems
Requirements
  • Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification - Essential
  • Proven experience in residential care (children or young people preferred)
  • Confident in managing complex behaviours and safeguarding responsibilities
