Overview

Would you like to join a new team in supporting individuals with trauma and mental health needs, integrating back into the community? We are currently looking for compassionate, patient, and resilient Support Workers to join our team for our new service being developed in Farnborough. Your role will involve promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and providing practical and emotional support tailored to each person\'s needs using the Trauma informed model. We are looking for someone with experience in supporting people who have had traumas in their life, suffer with mental health conditions using positive behaviour support and encouragement in their day to day lives, however we have a full training package for any new staff so if you are looking to give something back to people that need support this role could be for you.

Responsibilities
  • Build trusting relationships with individuals to create a safe, supportive environment.
  • Provide practical support with daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Implement individualised support plans and positive behaviour strategies.
  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours calmly and professionally.
  • Promote community inclusion by supporting individuals in social, leisure, and educational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews of care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals.
