Overview

Senior Support Worker - RCW - Children\'s Residential

Location: Lymington

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 (Plus Sleeps)

Contract Type: Permanent, 40 hours/week (Shifts typically - 1 or 2 on-call/night shifts)

Responsibilities
  • Deliver care in line with company policies, Quality Standards for Children's Homes, and the Children\'s Homes Regulations 2015.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes emotional well-being, health, education, and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Act as a key worker, helping young people build life skills, independence, and resilience, while prioritising their views, wishes, and emotional needs.
  • Support children through trauma, challenging behaviours, and difficult experiences with empathy, patience, and consistency.
  • Flexibility to cover sleep-in duties, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
