A leading charity for autism in the UK is seeking a Senior Support Worker to support autistic adults in building their independence and personal goals. The role requires management experience in a social care setting and offers flexibility in working hours. You will assist individuals in community integration and home-making skills, making a significant impact on their lives. This role offers a salary of £24,367.20 - £25,225.20 per annum along with various benefits.
We support people to understand their diagnosis and how this may impact on their life and the lives of those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and supportfor autistic adults 52 weeks a year 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also provide supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within our accommodation whether as tenants or owner occupiers living alone or with others.
We have come a long way but there is still so much to do to increase opportunities reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for people on the spectrum. With your help we can make it happen.

We are looking for Senior Support Workers with the passion to work with our fantastic teams. Youll be resilient supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Suitable candidates will have experience of management and / or shift leading within a social care setting. Being a Senior Support Worker takes leadership skills patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families and will include evening and weekend working.
This advert is for a full-time position 33 Hours. The salary for this position is 24367.20 - 25225.20 per annum.
Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is preferred / Essential.

To protect our autistic adults all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
