Job summary

A dedicated care service provider in Sutton Coldfield is seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to lead their supported living service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the individuals supported, previous experience in a similar role, and a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care. Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker is required.
  • Experience working with behaviours of distress is preferred.

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We are currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our supported living service in Sutton Coldfield. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic person.

Responsibilities
  • Help people gain more independence in their daily lives.
  • Assist the Manager with day‑to‑day supervision and management of the service.
  • Allocate shifts, book training, and induct new colleagues.
  • Support with supervision of colleagues.
  • Order medication and ensure residents manage their finances.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress.
  • Experience working with individuals who have autism.
