Senior Support Worker – Full Time | Chorley

Pay: £14.46 - £15.40ph per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: 35–40 hours per week, day shifts

About the Role

P4 Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning Lancashire social care organisation to recruit a dedicated Senior Support Worker. In this role, you’ll not only provide exceptional care to adults with a range of disabilities but also take a leadership role within the team, supporting and mentoring other support workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to adults with varying disabilities
  • Assist service users with daily living tasks and meaningful activities
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Support service users in engaging with community activities
  • Maintain accurate records of care and report on outcomes
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide junior support staff
  • Lead by example and ensure high standards of care across shifts
  • Support team in implementing care plans and best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a social care support role
  • Previous leadership or senior support experience preferred
  • Full, clean driving licence preferred
