Job description
Senior Support Worker - Rosemont/Waterside

We have an opportunityfor a full time (37.5 hours) Senior Support Worker at our supported living services, Waterside (Chesham) and Rosemont (Princes Risborough). You will be working an equal split across both schemes.

Both Waterside and Rosemont are shared supported living homes which are home to five and four people respectively aged between 31 and 63.

Working as part of a dedicated team, your role as a Senior Support Worker is to assist the manager to promote high standards of practice and appropriate support. You will provide leadership, direct line management supervision and support to a number of care & support staff and provide frontline support delivery to the people we support, whilst covering shifts on a rota basis.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, who brings a can-do attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive.

You will also need to:

  • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
  • Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
  • This role also includes one shift per week of completing a sleep in.
  • Work well as part of a team and independently
  • Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work which includes business insurance

It is essential that you have strong IT skills, hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle for work purposes and are happy to do sleep-ins. (an allowance for 52.78 per sleep in is paid)
