Responsibilities

Days and hours of work: 38 hours a week

Salary: £14.00ph

We are recruiting for a dedicated and committed support worker on behalf of one of our clients who support children and young adults with learning disabilities.

This is a rare and fantastic opportunity that would suit someone with a background working with both children and young adults as a senior support worker.

This is a full-time position with a requirement to work some weekends and during the school holidays. The role would be 3 days a week Senior Support and 2 days catching up on all administration.

The Role:
  • Managing a busy rota for members of staff to ensure all shifts are covered
  • Carrying out staff supervisions
  • Reviewing care plans and other documents
  • Working with SEND children and neurodiverse adults
  • Maintaining a safe environment for staff and service users
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and documenting accordingly
  • Carrying out relevant risk assessments ahead of community and day trips when needed
  • Protecting the confidentiality of all Service Users and Clients
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Support Worker in the UK is essential
  • Must be resilient and compassionate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Own transport is essential for this role with a full clean UK driving licence
  • Current enhanced DBS is essential
