Job summary

Continuum Recruitment Group is exclusively supporting a confidential client for a Head of Supply Chain. The role oversees procurement, planning and the wider supply chain across multiple manufacturing sites, with a focus on aerospace Tier 1/2 relationships and customer expectations.

The successful candidate will drive S&OP, inventory optimization and continuous improvement, delivering strong leadership and meaningful impact within a growing manufacturing group.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 aerospace manufacturers.
• Proven leadership across procurement, planning and supply chain in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing annual spend of £30m to £50m.
• Strong track record with aerospace OEMs/tier 1s and customer expectations.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement, S&OP, inventory optimization and high‑performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, planning and broader supply chain across multiple manufacturing businesses.
• Own group‑level supply chain strategy and execution onsite.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, S&OP, inventory optimization and supplier relationships.
• Partner with OEMs and Tier 1s to meet customer expectations and delivery goals.
• Ensure alignment of procurement, planning and operations with business objectives.

This is a group-level leadership role with responsibility across multiple manufacturing businesses, leading the procurement, planning and wider supply chain functions.

We're looking to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:

• Tier 1 or Tier 2 aerospace manufacturing experience
• Proven leadership across procurement, planning and supply chain within a complex manufacturing environment
• Experience managing annual spend of £30m to £50m
• Strong experience managing relationships with major aerospace OEMs/ tier 1s and a thorough understanding of customer expectations
• A track record of driving continuous improvement, S&OP, inventory optimisation and developing high-performing supply chain teams
