Scope of Role:
- Manage and maintain the Company's Suppliers by working closely with internal customers such as Operations, Purchasing, Project leaders, Quality, and External Suppliers to develop mutually agreeable relationships.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Company's Supplier Audit management plan in accordance with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain the Supplier monitoring process using analytical techniques, including enhancing the Supplier scorecard and other relevant KPIs.
- Ensure all Supplier Quality System documentation complies with the Supplier Quality Manual.
- Maintain the Approved Supplier Listing, scope of Supply, and review frequency.
- Perform robust problem solving using 8D Root Cause analysis and corrective actions with Suppliers.
- Improve Supplier Quality Metrics, ensuring non-conformances are addressed promptly.
- Drive improvements to Supplier Quality metrics through root cause identification and corrective actions.
- Promote and support continuous improvement and lean practices within the Supply Chain.
- Conduct audits on Supplier Sites as required.
- Support supplier selection strategies for current and new product introductions.
- Assist with third-party audits as needed.
Other Responsibilities/Non-essential Functions
- Undertake training as identified by the role manager.
- Support additional duties as requested by the manager, acting manager, or Directors.
- Provide flexible support outside normal tasks during periods of reduced staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform ad hoc duties, including training, department tasks, and secondments to other departments.
Limits of Fiscal/Management Authority
- Cannot change Business Management System processes without approval but can make recommendations.
