Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Adult) with experience of supporting people who use substances to join our Drug and Alcohol Service. The post holder will independently assess, plan and implement evidence based treatment programmes in collaboration with the client group and in close partnership with other agencies.

As well as providing harm reduction advice. The applicant would be required to travel efficiently and effectively to undertake the role.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Mental Health or Adult experience.
• Experience supporting people who use substances.
• Willingness to travel and work in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement evidence-based treatment programmes.
• Provide harm reduction advice.
• Collaborate with clients and other agencies.
• Travel to undertake the role; driving licence required.
