Job summary

An Edinburgh-based international law firm is seeking an established Finance Lawyer to join its leading Structured and Project Finance Team within the Projects Group. The role focuses on development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, refinancing activities, and related advisory work.

The successful candidate will handle M&A matters related to these projects and advise on energy efficiency and low carbon mandates as part of a dynamic team in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Finance Lawyer in structured and project finance.
• Experience with energy and infrastructure finance projects.
• Knowledge of refinancing and related corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and finance new energy and infrastructure projects.
• Manage refinancing activities for primary project portfolios.
• Provide operational support and oversight on project deals.
• Oversee M&A related to energy and infrastructure projects.
• Advise on energy efficiency and low carbon mandates.
