The Role

We are seeking a Senior Structured Power Trader to join our London trading desk. You will focus on structured power products, optimizing portfolio value across multiple European markets and managing complex risk exposures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute structured trading strategies across European Day-Ahead, Intraday, and longer-term contracts.
• Manage multi-market power portfolios, optimizing risk and returns.
• Collaborate with origination, risk, and analytics teams to structure and price complex products.
• Build and refine quantitative models to support trading and risk management decisions.
• Lead the valuation and negotiation of PPAs, CfDs, and structured hedging contracts.
• Mentor junior traders and provide market insight to the desk.

Required Experience

• 7+ years in structured power trading, quantitative trading, or portfolio management in European power markets.
• Strong understanding of DA, ID, and forward markets, as well as structured contracts (PPAs, CfDs).
• Proven experience in managing multi-market P&Ls.
• Quantitative and analytical proficiency; comfortable with Python, Excel, and modeling tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
