Job summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is assisting a Nottingham-based engineering consultancy in finding a Senior Structural Technician to join the growing Structural Engineering team. You will produce high-quality drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit, supporting diverse projects from £250k to £30m.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and knowledge of BIM Level 2. Hybrid working and opportunities for career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Structural Technician.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience detailing steel, timber, masonry and reinforced concrete structures.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 and geotechnical principles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Our client, a highly respected and employee-owned engineering consultancy, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Structural Technician to join their growing Structural Engineering team in Nottingham.

Working on a diverse portfolio of projects valued from £250k to £30m, you'll produce high-quality structural drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit, supporting projects across a range of sectors and construction types.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Structural Technician.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience detailing steel, timber, masonry and reinforced concrete structures.
• Strong understanding of building detailing and construction methods.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 and geotechnical principles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
