Job summary
Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Structural Revit Technician in Leicester to deliver high-quality structural drawings and BIM models across varied projects. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and external consultants to drive efficient delivery from concept to construction.
The ideal candidate will have substantial Revit experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and a solid understanding of structural detailing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as Structural Revit Technician in a consultancy.
- Strong proficiency in Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of structural engineering principles and detailing.
- Experience producing drawings for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed structural drawings and Revit models.
- Coordinate BIM information with project teams.
- Prepare GA drawings, RC detailing, and steelwork drawings.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards.
- Mentor junior technicians.
- Attend project and coordination meetings.
- Ensure delivery within deadlines.
