RSK Land & Development and Engineering (LDE) Ltd, part of the RSK Group, invites applications for a Senior Structural Revit Technician in Hemel Hempstead. The role focuses on drafting within the design team, producing structural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, and collaborating with Architects, M&E Engineers, and clients to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drafting drawings with Revit on designated projects.
• Assist in preparing structural drawings using Revit and other software.
• Understand design team workflow and project timescales.
• Coordinate with Architect, M&E and Client teams.
• Keep up to date with legislation, codes of practice, design codes and suppliers.
• Support project delivery through effective communication and scheduling.
• Develop technical capability via CPD and seminars.
• Apply RSK’s HERRR, Quality, and SHEQMS at project level.
• Assist in issuing project documents via email and cloud-based tools.
• Be aware of deadlines and allocate time accordingly.

Senior Structural Revit Technician – Hemel Hempstead, UK

RSK Land & Development and Engineering (LDE) Ltd, part of the RSK Group, offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Revit Technician to join their growing team in Hemel Hempstead.

Responsibilities

• Drafting Technician within design team on designated projects, reporting to Principal Engineer.
• Assisting in the preparation of structural drawings and design using Revit and other proprietary design software.
• Understanding role within design team and timescales for undertaking required works.
• Understanding and appreciating the role of other design team members (Architect, M&E Engineer, Client, etc).
• Keeping up to date with changes in legislation, codes of practice, design codes and proprietary suppliers.
• Understanding programme coordination, communication and LDE involvement to ensure satisfactory project delivery.
• Maintaining and developing technical or management capability through CPD, attending internal and external seminars regularly.
• Implementing RSK’s HERRR, Quality and SHEQMS procedures at project level.
• Assisting in issuing project documents via email and cloud‑based coordination software.
• Being aware of project deadlines and allocated time to work items.

Technical Specification

• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• On‑going experience in drawing production in accordance with standard procedures.
• Practical understanding of structural engineering principles.
• Knowledge of NHBC Standards.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations.

Person Specification

• Technician with relevant work experience.
• Prior knowledge of the full engineering/development process.
• Working towards a degree or HNC level.
• Self‑motivated and ambitious.
