Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to act as senior technical lead on high-value, high-volume residential projects and other sectors within the UK. You will manage project delivery, mentor junior staff and ensure design quality and compliance with UK codes.

You will work with a Partner, oversee fee reporting, resource planning, and build strong client relationships while coordinating with subconsultants and other teams. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Chartered with MICE or MIStructE.
• About ten years post graduate experience in civil/structural consulting.
• Solid knowledge of UK codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of structural engineering services on high-volume residential projects and other sectors.
• Provide design oversight and quality assurance as senior technical lead.
• Peer reviews and mentoring for junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage programmes, budgets and fee reporting within projects.
