Job summary

Critical Project Resourcing Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Structures Engineer to join a specialist technical team on one of Europe’s largest infrastructure programmes. You will work on bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and tunnels, providing technically sound answers and supporting decisions to keep construction moving.

Ideally Chartered Engineer or active professional membership, with experience reading complex designs and delivering defensible positions.

Qualifications

• Background in bridge engineering with depth to read designs, identify the problem and form a defensible solution.
• Experience across civil structures such as retaining walls, culverts and cut-and-cover tunnels on major infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and assurance to designers and contractors.
• Assess proposed solutions against standards and programme requirements; contribute to governance of departures.
• Engage with multi-contractor teams to resolve technically complex issues under time and commercial pressure.
